 Framing the First Impression

A Front Yard That Feels Like a Welcome

This client in Wayne came to Brandywine with a home full of character, and a front yard that didn’t match it. They knew they wanted curb appeal with purpose: a landscape that introduced their home with structure and care.

We partnered with them to reimagine the front approach, carving out a space that now feels intentional from the first step. A sweeping retaining wall frames a tiered garden bed, guiding the eye from the driveway to the porch. A bluestone walkway leads to a sitting area perfect for morning coffee or impromptu visits with neighbors. Throughout the design, we used materials that respected the home’s historic stonework, while native plantings and lighting brought the garden to life across every season.
