Design That Grounds a Legacy

Landscape Design Services

Bespoke Outdoor Environments for the Brandywine Valley

Our design process starts with a comprehensive site analysis and ends with a presentation-quality rendering of your finished project, every material, dimension, and detail resolved before a single stone is set. We produce detailed 2D plans for permitting and layout, alongside a final 3D rendering so what you approve is exactly what gets built. No kits, no square-foot pricing, no guesswork.

What You See Is What Gets Built

Good design isn’t decorative. It’s decisive. At Brandywine, we approach landscape design like a master builder approaches a foundation—with permanence in mind from the first line drawn.

We start with the site—its slope, flow, sun, soil, and context. Then we shape a layout that solves problems before they happen: grading, drainage, access, and use. Whether it’s a hillside pavilion or a tight courtyard, every plan is a one-off—hand-built on screen or paper, designed to make sense not just today, but 20 years from now.

At the conclusion of Design Development, once every detail has been locked, we produce a final presentation-quality rendering of your project. Not a working sketch. The definitive visual representation of what will be built. What you approve is what gets built.

How it Works

01

Site Analysis & Programming

We visit the site, document existing conditions, and conduct a detailed needs assessment. The output is a clear project brief that defines what we are designing and why, before a single line is drawn.

02

Design Proposal & Budget

We issue a paid design proposal based on a rough budget (3% of project value, credited back if you move forward).

03

Schematic Design & Concept Development

We develop the foundational concept: overall form, spatial flow, key features, and material direction. We produce initial 3D views to communicate the concept, then align on design direction and budget before proceeding.

04

Design Development & Final Rendering

Every material, dimension, and cost gets resolved. Then we deliver a presentation-quality rendering of exactly what we'll build. Not a concept sketch. The definitive visual of your finished project.

05

Final Documentation & Construction

We produce a complete documentation package and present it alongside a Construction Agreement. Once signed, we get to work and don't stop until it's done. And done right.

See the Vision Before We Build

As part of our design process at Brandywine Designs, we create hyper-realistic renderings that allow you to experience the project before construction begins. Materials, lighting, elevations, and layout are all carefully visualized so you can see exactly how the space will live on your property.

High-quality, hyper realistic renderings are a refined way to design, ensuring every detail is understood before the first stone is set.
